16:1 We can gather our thoughts, but the Lord gives the right answer.
Gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!! :) That doesn't sound too patient does it? I am trying to be. Lord help me to SEEK your guidance patiently.
16:9 We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.
I continue to pray for the right path to be exposed. To not race ahead of the One who is leading with only my "plans" and NO DIRECTION!
16:19 It is better to live humbly with the poor than to share the plunder with the proud.
There may not be a better way to put what it's like living a worldly life. Plundering With The Proud! If Satan had an actual recruiting office, I could see that on a poster behind the desk!
16:31 Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life.
This verse should make me feel a little better about those salt and pepper locks that fall on my little apron thing when I get my hair cut; but for some reason I still just feel like I'm getting old! I wonder what it means when a little bald spot starts to peek out of the part in the back of your head! Some of you don't know that I've felt you staring at it when you sit behind me on Sunday mornings! J/K :)
16:33 We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall.
